"Working with Plastic Shed was an absolute pleasure. Rachel was incredibly organised in the run up to our all Company volunteering day and I had complete trust in her delivery of the activities including an education plastic transformation workshop. I would highly recommend any business work with Plastic Shed if they are keen to help their employees engage with environmental issues and the plastic waste problem."

As a team ourself, we know how important it is to take care of morale. "The ideal team for any business is motivated and cohesive. Yet, no matter how much that may be true overall, there will be days when teams feel less enthusiastic or bogged down by their workload. It’s important to note whenever this happens and present solutions. Sometimes all it may take is a break from the norm." - Forbes Coaches Council
Our workshops offer a great chance for teams to reconnect whilst doing something good for the community and the environment. It's an opportunity for people to work together in new ways, whilst stimulating their creativity.
Here are a few ideas of how a workshop could work for you and your team:
2 hour creative recycling workshop
up to 15 people
We bring our tools and materials to you and show you how to turn some of your plastic waste into new things. From old branded banners into planters to plastic wrap into cutlery holders we can discuss what plastic you use and what new items you'd love to make.
Half day litter pick and recycling workshop with a waste free lunch
up to 30 people
A litter pick out in the fresh air, in a part of your community that needs some TLC. Instead of throwing that litter straight in the bin, we'll then work with you (in a safe and hygienic way) to transform plastic collected into new and beautiful things!
For lunch, we source a sustainable, hearty option. In the past we've used Open Kitchen Manchester who are another fantastic social enterprise.
Full day community transformation
with a waste free lunch (Greater Manchester only)
up to 30 people
This is a great option for reconnecting with your local community as much as within your team. We work with our community partners to develop a transformation project for an area in need. This could be a local park, a care home, a community centre or even a school. On the day we support your staff to use plastic waste to create new items that will make a huge difference to the community.
You'll share lunch with members of the local community who regularly use the space your working on. We'll be sure to source a sustainable and hearty option!
