MERSEYWAY WORKSHOP
A creative community space on the high street!
In 2020 we were given the keys to an empty shop on Stockport’s high street thanks to support from Stockport Council. We raised an amazing £4000 through crowdfunding in the summer of 2020 to help us start our work on converting the former shoe shop into a space the community can be proud of. Thank you to everyone who has supported us! Together with Easy Peel we have opened a creative community workshop space called Merseyway Workshop.
You can find us in Stockport, Merseyway Shopping Centre, Unit 6, Deanery Way, SK11PP.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN VISITING US
At our space we have 3 dedicated plastic recycling machines:
A shredder, made by the Heatons’ Men In Sheds funded by Keep Stockport Caring fund
A heat press, made and kindly donated by C R Clarke
An injection molder, made by Sustainable Design Studio funded by Manchester Airport Fund
We also have an industrial sewing machine gifted by One+All in exchange for workshops.
