About the event
Last Christmas more than 103,000 tonnes of plastic packaging was thrown away in the UK rather than being recycled – the equivalent weight to almost 215,000 polar bears.
Come help us turn plastic waste into winter decorations and reduce the amount that we are buying brand new - saving you some pennies too.
We'll show you some recycling and up-cycling techniques including how to safely shred and melt plastic waste into new shapes.
