Come and help us turn plastic waste into something new - we’ll be sharing techniques for making egg cups, jewellery, wallets and more.

About the event
This workshop is free for anyone to attend (although spaces are limited unfortunately, so make sure you book a free space!).
We'll be recycling and up-cycling plastic waste into a few different things. Come and have a go, help out, experiment, chat, learn, watch and eat great cake from Tandem Coffee House! Even if you're just curious, come along and see what we are up to!
Techniques we'll be using include:
- Shredding and melting plastic bottle caps into steel moulds.
- Ironing layers of plastic bags to make your own durable patterned fabric.
- Using hand tools to up-cycle old vinyl banners.
Feel free to bring any clean plastic you can't recycle elsewhere - we will definitely be bringing loads to work with!
