About the event
Join us for a creative 1.5 - 2 hour workshop where you'll learn how to transform ordinary plastic bags into your very own recycled plastic animal!
Using techniques similar to collage, plastic bags can be cut, layered and carefully heated - no glue needed -to create colourful, textured creatures inspired by the animals that are so important to our world. From bees and butterflies to foxes and lions, you'll design and create your very own unique animal to take home.
Plastic bags are often thrown away after just a few uses or left forgotten under the sink for years. In this workshop, you'll discover how this everyday waste material can be transformed into something beautiful, creative and completely your own, while celebrating the wonderful world of pollinators.
Led by our expert workshop facilitator Jamie Lee from Plastic Shed, this hands-on workshop will help you:
Design your own recycled plastic pollinator…
