Join us for a creative 3 hour workshop where you'll learn how to transform ordinary plastic bags into your very own A3 sized piece of art!
Using techniques similar to collage, plastic bags can be cut, layered and carefully heated (no glue here!) to create all kinds of designs - from landscapes and animals to completely imaginative creations, truely almost anything is possible. If you can imagine it, we can make it together.
Plastics bags are often throw away after just a few uses or left forgotten under the sink for years. In this workshop, you'll discover how this everyday plastic can be transformed into something beautiful, creative and completely your own!
Led by environmental artist Caitlin Atherton from Plastic Shed, creator of the recycled plastic murals across Stockport, this hands on workshop will help you :
