1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required to secure your chosen date and time. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event. Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • The deposit is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel more than 14 days before your event, no further payment is required.

If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we shall reshedule your event or issue a full refund upon discussion.

 

3. Group Size & Pricing

Prices are based on agreed group sizes at the time of booking. Final numbers must be confirmed at least 5 days before the event. Additional charges may apply if numbers exceed the agreed amount.

4. Travel
Travel within 5 miles of our Stockport location is included.

5–15 miles + £15

15–25 miles: +£20

 

5. Child Supervision 
When working with children under the age of 18, a minimum of 2 responsible adults (in addition to the workshop host) must be present and actively supporting throughout the session.

Workshop involve the use of heat (machinery or an iron), which will be operated by adults only.
Children will not handle heated equipment.

All activities are guided, and materials are prepared in advance to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

6. Venue Requirements
For external bookings, the host must provide:

  • Tables for all participants

  • Adequate space to run the workshop safely

  • Access to electricity - if required

 

7. Accessibility
We aim to make our workshops as inclusive as possible.
Please inform us in advance of any:

  • Additional needs

  • Accessibility requirements

  • Allergies or sensitivities

We will do our best to accommodate all participants where possible.

 

At our Plastic Shed space, toilet facilities are available; however, they are located on the upper floor and may not be suitable for all access needs.There are accessible public toilets nearby at Stockroom. Please note these close at 4:30pm on Sundays and 5:30pm on other days.

8. Timing
We require 20-30 minutes before and after the session for setup and pack-down.

Late starts may result in reduced workshop time.

9. Alcohol & Safety
For safety reasons, we ask that no alcohol is consumed during the workshop.
This is due to the use of heated equipment (including irons) and tools.

10. Liability & Insurance
We hold public liability insurance and are both DBS checked.
However, we cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Damage to property during the workshop

  • Injury resulting from misuse of materials or lack of supervision

 

11. Acceptance of Terms
By paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
